Doctrinal Statement

We believe that the Holy Scriptures, as contained in the 66 Books of both the Old and New Testaments, are the verbally inspired, inerrant, infallible words of God, and are preserved in the King James translation for the English speaking world. II Peter 1:21, II Timothy 3:16 and Psalm 12:6 and 7.

We believe that there is one God, a living, supreme Spirit, the creator and ruler of heaven and earth, eternally expressing Himself through three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16 and 17 and I John 5:7.

We believe that the world, the heavens and the earth, came about by the spoken word of God, thus the meaning of the word uni-verse. Genesis 1 and II Peter 3:5 and 6.

We believe that man was created without sin but voluntarily sinned. Because of this fall all men are now sinners by birth and are destined for hell. They must be born from above to be fitted for fellowship with God. Genesis 1:31, Romans 5:12-31, Genesis 3:17, Romans 6:23 and John 3:3-6.

We believe that the unsaved will spend eternity in torment in a literal hell. Revelation 21:14 and 15.

We believe in the deity of Christ and that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Ghost of the virgin Mary. Matthew 1:20.

We believe that salvation of the sinner is wholly by grace and made possible alone through the vicarious death of Jesus Christ, the shedding of His blood on the cross of Calvary. Ephesians 2:8 and 9, Romans 4:4 and 5 Isaiah 56:3 ,4, 10 and 11, Luke 22:19 and 20, and Hebrews 9.

We further believe that there is salvation in none other and that all that is necessary for salvation is an acceptance by faith of His finished work. Acts 3:12 and John 1:12 and 3:16.

We believe that justification includes pardon from sin, the gift of eternal life, a perfect standing before God, and that a born-again believer cannot ever lose his salvation. Romans 5:9-11,6:23,8:1,30-34, John 10:28 and 29, I John 5:11-13 and Jude 24 and 25.
